It was obligatory worn by the students at the Secondary School and they boasted as they were few in numbers. The “pilikion” and the school apron had a different meaning, as in this way the behavior of the students could be controlled in order to be always appropriate.
“Pilikion” was abolished along with the black apron in 1965.
